About

Born into a family of creative thinkers and tinkerers, I grew up appreciating the iterative process and satisfaction of a successful design and the power it has to enhance our lives. As a young, recently admitted fine arts student at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I made the impulse decision to follow this notion and switch my major to Industrial Design. This program exposed me to the multiple layers of design and creative strategy through first-hand experience interviewing and working with clients on projects that spanned a range of industries and applications.

After receiving my bachelor’s degree in 2014, I worked in a variety of graphic design-oriented roles alongside extremely knowledgeable and diverse teams and organizations. I’ve collaborated with and been shaped by individuals who have routinely pushed me out of my comfort zone, enabling me to grow and seek new heights. As a result of this support, I pursued and obtained my master’s degree in strategic communication from Columbia University in 2024, where I honed skills in writing, planning campaigns and crafting proposals, political and ethical communication strategies, crisis management, and the evaluation and interpretation of quantitative/qualitative data to inform decision-making. My undergraduate and work experience provided me with unique opportunities to implement design practices and skills that elevated assignments through mock-ups, data visualizations, and cohesive visual systems. Now, as design lead, I call on these principles and experiences to advance organizational goals and empower teams through mentorship and consultation.

My most rewarding life transformations have happened because I was challenged, either by a story or an idea or belief that engaged my heart and mind. Because of this, I am deeply motivated to create designs and systems where narratives have the power to inclusively exchange, thoughtfully collide, intelligently build, and meaningfully reinvent people for the better.
